Sickies
Hubby was outside a bit last Saturday and we have a blooming tree in the neighbor’s yard that everyone has warned us is a HUGE source of allergies to most people. (Can’t remember the name of the tree, but it has lots of little white flowers and they are in full bloom right now.)
Hubby’s nose went crazy, but by the next day he had a sore throat and cough. Whatever he got, was highly contagious and passed through the entire family. It’s incubation is about 2 days and it lasts from 3-5 days with various degrees of symptoms for each person. We figured we were nearing the end of the illness, but it moved into the Sarge’s ears and the Imp’s chest, so we’ll be doing the garlic and vitamin C thing for a few more days yet. Even the cat is sick. He flopped on the floor with a warm nose and by day two he was sneezing and pitiful just like the rest of us.
